Custom Aprons With Your Logo, Built for Kitchen, Bar and Salon

01By buyer

Custom Aprons for Restaurant Groups, Coffee Chains, Salons and Distributors

One apron per role, the same in every location.

  • Restaurant groups and commercial kitchens

Line, prep and dish staff across several restaurants, in full bib and bistro aprons. Kitchens that wear chef coats order both in one program.

  • Coffee chains and bakeries

Baristas and bakers across many stores. One adjustable size fits the whole team, so a store never waits on a size.

  • Salon and barbershop chains

Stylists, colourists and barbers. Every apron colour is tested against peroxide before you see it.

  • Uniform distributors and apron brands

Custom aprons wholesale and private label aprons under your woven labels, re-ordered from the same pattern files and retained lab dips, so runs match on the shelf.

Custom Chef Aprons Built for Industrial Laundering

A kitchen apron is worn through hot, greasy shifts and goes to an industrial laundry every day, so the build starts from the wash route.

  • Close-up of poly-cotton twill apron fabric

    Poly-cotton twill

    • Polyester holds size and colour through high-temperature washing

Barista and Bakery Aprons With Adjustable Straps and Bartacked Tool Pockets

Baristas and bakers bend, reach and lean over the counter, spill milk and coffee, and carry thermometers, pens, cloths and phones all shift.

Canvas apron hanging on a hook behind a coffee bar

Canvas or denim

Cotton canvas, or cotton denim for a heavier front-of-house look. Both hold their shape with full pockets; staff at the sink or steam wand can have coated polyester.

Barista bending over latte art with cross-back apron straps across the shoulders

Adjustable or cross-back

A slider sets bib height on every team member from one size. H-back straps keep the weight off the neck for staff who bend all day.

Apron chest pocket with a pen slot, thermometer and markers in a divided front pocket

Pockets laid out to the tools

Chest pocket with pen slot, divided front pocket for thermometers and markers, cloth loop. Every top corner and divider is bartacked, so a loaded pocket stays on through shift and wash.

Antique-brass grommet and D-ring on a canvas apron

Brass or nickel hardware

Grommets, rivets and D-rings in antique brass or nickel plating to match your brand, each one pull-tested.

Names from your staff list

Each barista's name goes on the chest or above the pocket, in the same order as the logo. Spelling proofs and per-person packing work as on custom work shirts.

0603 · Salon & barber

Custom Barber and Salon Aprons: Water-Resistant Face, Peroxide-Tested Colour

Stylists, colourists and barbers work with hair dye, developer and cut hair all day. Smooth polyester lets cut hair brush off instead of working into the weave; barbershops that want a heavier look can have cotton denim.

Ask for a coated sample
Colourist at the basin wearing a coated stylist apron while rinsing colour
≥ 1,000 mm

Water-resistant face

Hydrostatic pressure on new PU-coated fabric (ISO 811), re-tested after 25 domestic washes (ISO 6330) to at least 600 mm. Coated aprons go on a domestic or commercial wash route.

Water beading and rolling off a coated apron face
Hair dye bowl and brush resting on apron fabric
Grade ≥ 4

Peroxide-tested colour

Hair developer can bleach fabric, so every salon colour is tested for colour fastness to peroxide bleaching (ISO 105-N02) at the lab-dip stage. Approved colours are kept as retained lab dips.

  • No needle through the coating

Needle holes would break the water barrier, so the logo goes on by low-temperature heat-transfer film or screen print. Uncoated polyester and denim are embroidered.

  • Plastic or covered hardware

Peroxide and dye do not corrode the fittings or leave marks on the fabric.

  • Custom and private label only

Each coating spec is controlled style by style, so coated aprons are made on the custom or private label route.

Seven Parts of a Custom Apron, Each Written Into the Build Spec

All seven go into the build spec for your style, so every re-order is made the same way.

  1. 1

    Body

One panel in the station's fabric. Bibs are shaped at the armhole to sit flat; waist aprons are cut straight.

  2. 2

    Neck strap

Fixed, adjustable on a slider, or replaced by cross-back straps.

  3. 3

    Waist ties

Joined at the waist corners; length in the spec cards.

  4. 4

    Strap joins

Box-X stitched through a reinforcing patch (tested on every lot).

    Edges

Double-needle hemmed, or bound in the same fabric or a contrast colour.

  3. 7

    Hardware

Sliders, grommets, rivets and D-rings, finished to the workstation.

09Reinforcement

Strap Joins Box-X Stitched and Pull-Tested on Every Lot

The strap joins and pocket corners carry the load on an apron, so that is where the reinforcement and the testing go.

How it's reinforced

A reinforcing patch goes on the back. The strap is stitched through body and patch with a box-X: a square with both diagonals. The square spreads the pull; the diagonals stop the strap tearing out along one line.

What's tested

150 N · 10 s

Strap joins pulled to 150 N and held for 10 seconds; grommets and rivets to 100 N. The pass is no seam slippage and no tearing. Values are set at sample stage and written into your build spec.

When and by whom

3 per lot

Every sample piece is tested before it ships to you, and the results go with the sample. In bulk, line QC pulls 3 pieces from each lot and records the results against your order.

If a lot fails

The lot is held and the joins are checked across it. The cause is found (stitch length, thread, patch placement or hardware setting), fixed and re-tested before release. Failed pieces are remade, and you are told if the ship date moves.

You receive the pull test record for the sample and for each bulk lot.

10Logos & names

Aprons With Custom Logo: Method Chosen by Fabric and Wash Route

Each logo is set up once, so every store's aprons look the same. All decoration runs in-house.

Twill, canvas, denim120

Embroidery heads

Logos embroidered in polyester thread. Heavy canvas and denim take a dense logo without puckering.

Coated polyester

Heat transfer or screen print

Low-temperature heat-transfer film or screen print. Temperature, dwell time and pressure are set on the first piece for each style and fabric (why no needle).

Staff names

Names in the same order

Embroidered on uncoated aprons, heat-applied on coated ones, from your staff list with a signed spelling proof (name workflow).

Every store

One set-up for every re-order

Digitizing file, thread or ink colours and press settings are kept as a logo set-up record. The first piece off each machine and press is checked against the approved sample.

Every new logo and fabric is wash-tested on sample pieces, ISO 6330 for 50 domestic cycles, with before-and-after photos. Industrial programs: kitchen wash test · logo sizes: spec cards.

12How aprons are made

Eight Steps From Fabric Check to Cartons Packed by Store

Inline QC at 3 points: after cutting, during sewing and after decoration.

  1. 01

    Fabric check

Each roll batch is read against your retained lab dip before cutting; for salon colours the peroxide result is on file.

  2. 02

    Cutting

Bodies, straps, pockets and reinforcing patches cut together from the CAD marker.

  3. 03

    Sewing

Pockets attached and bartacked, edges hemmed or bound, straps joined box-X through the patch.

  4. 04

    Hardware

Sliders, grommets and rivets set to the build spec.

  5. 05

    Logo and names

Embroidered, printed or heat-applied, with a first-piece check on every machine and press.

  6. 06

    Pull test

Pieces from each lot pulled at the strap joins and hardware (the strap pull test).

  7. 07

    Final inspection

AQL 2.5, General Level II, against the approved sample: dimensions, strap and tie length, pocket layout, logo and name accuracy, and shade. The QC manager releases the order.

  8. 08

    Packing

Ties folded in, each apron in a polybag with a style label; cartons labelled with PO, style, colour, dye lot and store.

If a batch is off after delivery, the remake terms on the home page apply.

  • Final AQL report
  • Pull test record per lot
  • Decoration wash test record with photos
  • Hydrostatic result for coated fabric
